Collaborative Degree Programs
The MPH Program participates in a number of collaborative degree opportunities within and outside the College of Public Health and Health Professions. Joint programs are available for students seeking professional doctoral degrees in Law (JD/MPH) and Pharmacy (PharmD/MPH). New joint degree programs with Medicine (MD/MPH) and Veterinary Medicine (DVM/MPH) are under development and expected to begin in summer or fall, 2007.
Collaborative programs with doctoral level graduate degrees (PhD/MPH) are also available. Formal programs with Clinical and Health Psychology and Rehabilitation Science within the college are now accepting applications. Other “Nontraditional Doctoral/Master’s Degree” programs can be developed on an individual basis with the approval of the participating programs. Similarly, “Concurrent Master’s Degree” programs (for example, MS/MPH or MA/MPH) may also be developed to meet the career goals of individual students.
In addition, the MPH is an option for a growing number of residents, fellows, and faculty in the University of Florida Health Science Center and the larger university community.
